My name is Tom Meyer and I’d like to welcome you to the Mill Creek Valley Taxidermy website. I am an avid outdoorsman and have been hunting and fishing my entire life. My love for the outdoors and game is what drew me to learning taxidermy over 23 years ago. I’ve been doing it in one form or another in the Cincinnati area ever since.

Starting this year, Mill Creek Valley Taxidermy will be doing business a bit different than in past years. I will not be accepting in any bird work other than turkey fans/panels for the foreseeable future. Although I enjoyed mounting waterfowl and upland birds, I’ve decided to focus mainly on antlered and horned game, euro (skull) mounts, and soft/dry tanned hides. I simply don’t have enough time to work with birds any longer.

At Mill Creek Valley Taxidermy, all capes and hides are sent out to be professionally tanned by a very reputable tannery that has been in business for over 40 years. By sending them out, I avoid the issues of major hair loss, cracking and shrinkage that is a result of cutting corners to maximize profit. It is my belief that a professional tan adds to the life of your mount.

My shop has a large walk-in cooler that can be used by customers when needed. Additionally, I have a local processor lined up to help customers with their processing needs.

Thanks for visiting this site and I look forward to doing business with you.
